FS Collezione
Privacy Policy
Last updated 5 October 2026
This policy covers what we collect when you visit fscollezione.com or buy from
us, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
Information you give us. Your name, email address, shipping and billing
address, phone number and order details, when you buy something or create an
account. Your email address, when you join our list. The content of any
message you send us.
Payment information. Card payments are handled by our payment processor.
We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last four digits of
the card. We never see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically. Your IP address, your browser and
device type, the pages you view, what you add to your cart, and the site or
advert that sent you to us. Your IP address also gives us an approximate
location.
Quiz and survey answers. If you take our hair quiz or answer a survey, we
keep your answers. They are what produce your result and our recommendations.
We do not collect government identification numbers. We do not ask about your
health, religion, politics or sexual orientation.
How we use it
- To take payment, pack your order and ship it to you.
- To email you about an order, a delivery or a return.
- To answer your questions and handle returns and replacements.
- To send marketing emails, if you have asked for them.
- To recommend products based on what you have viewed or bought.
- To understand how the site is used and make it work better.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
- To meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations.
Where the law requires a legal basis, these are ours:
- Performing our contract with you, for orders.
- Your consent, for marketing and non-essential cookies.
- Our legitimate interest in running and improving the business.
- Legal obligation, for records we are required to keep.
Cookies and tracking
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the
site to work, including the ones that keep your cart and your session. Others
measure how the site is used, or support advertising.
You can refuse non-essential cookies in our cookie banner. You can clear or
block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the necessary ones will stop
parts of the site working.
We honour Global Privacy Control signals where your browser sends them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with the
companies that run parts of our business, and only so they can do that work:
- Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders and payments.
- Klaviyo, which sends our email marketing and stores the list.
- Shipping carriers, which need your address to deliver your order.
- Analytics and advertising providers, which measure site traffic and
advert performance.
We also disclose information where the law requires it. If the business is
ever sold or reorganised, this policy continues to apply to whatever is
transferred.
Under California law, some advertising cookies still count as "sharing" or
"selling" even though no money changes hands. You can opt out at any time. Use
the cookie banner, or write to us.
Marketing
You can leave our email list at any time. Use the unsubscribe link at the
bottom of any marketing email, or write to us.
Leaving the list does not stop emails about an order you have placed. We need
to send those to complete the order.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Give you a copy of it.
- Correct it if it is wrong.
- Delete it.
- Stop using it for marketing.
If you are in California, you can also:
- Know the categories of information we collect and who we share them with.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, and of targeted
advertising. - Limit our use of sensitive information.
- Exercise any of these rights without being treated differently for it.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you can
also:
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Ask us to restrict processing.
- Receive your information in a portable format.
- Complain to your national data protection authority.
To exercise any of this, write to support@fscollezione.com. We will verify who
you are first, usually by confirming details of a recent order. We respond
within the time the law allows. An authorised agent can make a request for you
with written permission.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and so are most of our service providers.
If you order from outside the United States, your information is transferred
there. Where we move information out of the United Kingdom or the European
Economic Area, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved
transfer mechanism.
How long we keep it
Order records: seven years, which is what our tax and accounting obligations
require. Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you.
Analytics data: kept in aggregate form after that.
Security
We encrypt information in transit. We limit who on our side can see customer
records. We use providers that hold recognised security certifications.
No system is completely secure, so we will not promise a breach can never
happen. If one affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
Our products and our site are for adults. We do not knowingly collect
information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us
information, write to us. We will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version goes here and the date at the top
changes. If the change is significant, we will tell our email list.
